Travel Tips!

Traveling to Hawai’i will only require a government-issued photo ID usable for domestic travel. The ecosystem in Hawaii is fairly delicate and regulated - please do not bring in any plants or animals (please declare them if you do).

*Please note that the total booking fee is $279.00 (including the $30 daily hotel fee) for a city-view room. There is a three-day grace period to check-in and check-out. Earliest check-in date is May 21, 2025. Latest check-out date is May 28, 2025.

Alternate Accomodations

Waikiki is about a 10 minute drive from the Kahala Hotel, and has a wide array of accommodations available to fit every budget. Other alternate recommendations include the Hilton Hawaiian, The Sheraton Waikiki, the Hilton Hawaiian Village, and The Halekulani Hotel.

Hawaii is the first state in the US to ban the sale of sunscreen that contains chemicals harmful to the coral reef. Please remember to bring reef-safe sunscreen, free of oxybenzone and octinoxate (linked to coral bleaching), and please try to avoid sunscreens that contain mineral oil and titanium dioxide, both of which are harmful to sea life and are not biodegradable.
